One does not live on bread alone,
but on every word that comes forth from the mouth of God. Mathew 4:4
God’s Words are powerful. One way to make the best of our Lenten journey is to confront our existential alienation by listening to the word of God. We feel the impact of God’s words in our life when we begin to meditate on it and act on it. The understanding and familiarity with God’s words and its purpose helps our conversation in prayer. It makes our prayers personal and meaningful and it breaks the barriers of isolation. The Lord’s prayer is the essence of God’s words. It connects us personally with God, (our father) and connects us with one another (..as we forgive those who offends us.)
