A clean heart create for me, O God, Psalm 51

When God speaks, he expects us to listen but not with our ears. He wants us to listen to him with our hearts. To listen with the heart is not to focus only on what is being said, but to reflect on it. The Blessed Mother was able to hang on with faith and hope on the words of God because she listened and pondered on it in her heart. God answers the challenges of life with his words directed to our hearts. May this season be a time of listening with the heart and returning to him. (Cf Joel 2:12-13).
