Monday of the Thirty-second Week in Ordinary Time

Be on your guard!

Sometimes the most difficult time is the time between making our request to God, and having our prayers answered. When results are not immediate, it is not unusual for the heart to wander or to question why. Through the help of divine grace may our hearts be guarded from negative thoughts or despair at times like this.

Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord! Psalm 27:14
