Jesus summoned the Twelve and gave them power and authority, over all demons and to cure diseases,
and he sent them to proclaim the Kingdom of God and to heal the sick Lk 9:1-6

Saint Francis of Assisi, once said ‘preach the gospel and when necessary use words’ The witness we bear to the Gospel, through our actions speaks eloquently about our faith as much as words. The authority over evil is exercised through actions and words ‘when necessary.’
