WEDNESDAY, 26TH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME
The images of ‘white as snow,’ ‘pure wool,’ ‘fiery flames,’ ‘burning fire,’ all point to the holiness of God as presented in the first reading of today by prophet Daniel. The holiness of the angels made the worthy to stand before God.
We are reminded of our own call to holiness. God wants us to serve Him in truth and in spirit. Be Holy as your heavenly Father is holy (Matt. 5:48). Holiness of life – in deeds, words, desires, choices, appearance are fruits of a heart that is pure.- Fr. Leo
