Ash Wednesday and Lent is upon us. Hopefully through fasting we will be able to shed some “Pandemic weight”. But more importantly, Lent is that time we break the silence about original sin, and sin in all it forms. This silence is not broken only at the confessional. Since actions speak louder than the voice, we will be breaking our silence on sin through acts of charity and love. It will be time to hide no more like Adam and Eve, but to confess, I mean break the silence and forgiven. …Can’t wait. (Ash Wednesday: February 17. 2021)
