God gives his people peace.

In a few hours our Lenten journey will begin. Pope Francis in the conclusion of his Lenten pastoral letter this year said “The call to experience Lent as a journey of conversion, prayer and sharing of our goods, helps us – as communities and as individuals – to revive the faith that comes from the living Christ, the hope inspired by the breath of the Holy Spirit and the love flowing from the merciful heart of the Father. Thus we experience God’s blessing of peace through a revitalised faith, lively hope and merciful love that is forgiving and generous. The Holy Father also suggest focusing our acts of love and charity on those affected by the pandemic. Although there has been much sorrow and pain, it is time to heal, be revived and be hopeful.
