Memorial of Saint Scholastica, Virgin

St. Scholastica is the twin sister of St. Benedict and the patron of Benedictine Nuns. She was outstanding in simplicity and faith and committed to the values of prayer, work, study, community, reverence and respect. She was quite supportive of her brother St. Benedict.

Let us pray through the intercession of St. Scholastica for siblings who have embraced the religious life, for all modern contemplatives.
