Wednesday of the Fifth Week in Ordinary Time

“But what comes out of the man, that is what defiles him. From within the man, from his heart, come evil thoughts, unchastity, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit,
licentiousness, envy, blasphemy, arrogance, folly. All these evils come from within and they defile
Mk 7:14-23

Take care of your heart! And I don’t mean more cardio. The heart determines a lot about a person. The personality, the ways, the thoughts, the deeds, the actions, of a person are all based around his/her heart. A lying cheating heart is a lying cheating man, a loving merciful heart, is a loving merciful heart, a living heart means a living man. A dead heart means a dead man. Regardless of a person’s wealth or position, if the heart is not great he/she can not be great, but if the heart is great, that person remains great in all circumstances rich or poor. (Mohament Ali) So, care for your heart!
