Monday of the Fourth Week of Lent

Thus says the LORD: Lo, I am about to create new heavens and a new earth;
The things of the past shall not be remember or come to mind.
Instead, there shall always be rejoicing and happiness in what I create; Is 65:17-21

Have you ever wished you were there when God created the heavens and the earth?, to see the wonder of new things coming into existence? Well Prophet Isaiah tells us today, God is not done, creating. He is not done making things new. For Jerusalem was once destroyed, and through Prophet Isaiah God promised to make all things new and rebuild Jerusalem. Through Jesus, God renews us and restores our joy. He does this out of love and mercy. He gives us second chances and never stops making us new through His Spirit Christ has breathed upon us.

Because of the Lord’s great love, we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; ” Lamentations 3:22-24. Amen. Wishing you a blessed week and remember Friday is the feast of St. Joseph.

NOVENA PRAYER TO ST JOSEPH

Glorious Saint Joseph, spouse of the Immaculate Virgin, obtain for me a pure, humble, charitable mind, and perfect resignation to the divine Will. Be my guide, my father, and my model through life that I may merit to die as you did in the arms of Jesus and Mary. Loving Saint Joseph, faithful follower of Jesus Christ, I raise my heart to you to implore your powerful intercession in obtaining from the Divine Heart of Jesus all the graces necessary for my spiritual and temporal welfare, particularly the grace of a happy death, and the special grace I now implore:(Mention your request).

Guardian of the Word Incarnate, I feel confident that your prayers in my behalf will be graciously heard before the throne of God. Amen
