Lord, will only a few people be saved? He answered them,  “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I tell you, will attempt to enter but will not be strong enough.Lk 13:22-30

If any man wishes to come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it; and whosoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel’s will save it” (Mk 8:34–35).

May our sacrifices open our hearts more to Christ, create not just a change in belief but a change in behaviour, and through His Spirit, may we be revived and reformed. May God be our strength when we are weak, supplying all our spiritual needs according to his riches in Glory.
