The Holy innocents are the poor children under the age of two, killed by Herod in an attempt to kill Jesus whom he considered a rival. His action brought tears and sadness to a lot of families. They won’t be the last to die due to cold heartedness and insensitivity to who Christ really is.

We will always have the weak and the vulnerable, children, the unborn, the elderly and the sick, whose continued existence and well-being will depend on our kindness and the understanding of the our inter-dependence.
